FUN FACTS!:
in my most recent deviations(and this one) I haven't used textures. this is all hand made shite!

THE TITLE?:
it from a Tom Waits song.... and it was the original name of the file when I named it back when I had drawn the basic sketch.

Atmosphere and colors... A++. But it seems lacking on the right side and busy on the left. Maybe try putting in more windmills over there?

well see this guy might actually appear in one of my future(not so distant future that is) projects and the thing I was going to draw on his left side(our right) is somewhat a secret. and I decided not to finish it because well.... I'd have to explain shit. the guy will face some minor design alterations however to fit his "story" and this piece as whole might actually be remade fully in the future(with more sky and the secret thing in the background) to be a cover.
other than that I really don't have an issue with the emptyness myself... although I keep imagining the "secret thing" in it when I look at it but still...

I used alot of different brushes.
the dude was made in painter some time ago and fixed up in photoshop. basically everything that changed from the old version was done in photoshop... while the old version was entirely done in painter.
anyhow in painter I use a custom brush I've tweaked over the summer every now and then to fit me. you can check how it acted in the beginning by checking my deviations "relax cowboy" and that old hellboy piece that's orange. up until the chickon and all. that is all the same brush.
as for photoshop it's all basic ps brushes.
